The AS3645, for example, an up to 1000mA inductive based flash LED driver consumes less than 25sqmm of PCB area including all relevant external components. Further the AS3645 has a accuracy of +/-5% for the high flash current and drives up to 2 LEDs in series for highest efficient light output.
