Unterpremstaetten, Austria (August 25, 2011) — Today’s Extraordinary General Meeting of austriamicrosystems AG (SIX: AMS), a leading worldwide designer and manufacturer of high performance analog ICs for consumer, communications, industry & medical and automotive applications, in connection with the recently completed acquisition of Texas Advanced Optoelectronic Solutions, Inc. approved the proposed expansion of the Supervisory Board by two members with a large majority and unanimously elected Jacob Jacobsson and Gerald Rogers to the Supervisory Board.
