ams’ smart lighting management solutions include highly integrated, ultra flexible lighting management ICs covering virtually all illumination tasks of today’s mobile phones. The standard Backlight and Keypad lighting functions are served in a very flexible way by either a Charge pump or an inductive step up converter. The ICs come with a sophisticated, autonomously working pattern generator that allows for cool Event and Fun Light patterns and cover also latest features like ALS and DLS. Furthermore some of the products offer Light to Audio synchronization giving today’s Music phone a sensational extra boost. The lighting management product portfolio covers the space, feature and cost requirements of entry level to high-end phones.
